OFFENSE

A new regime begins in 2022 for the Lawton Eisenhower Eagles under new head coach, and Lawton native, Javon Harris. Taking charge for the Eagles will be quarterback Ali’lfa’Atui Faoa-Danielson (6-1, 217, Jr.). A great student-athlete, Faoa-Danielson, has played multiple positions in his time with the Eagles. “He has shown great signs of leadership and gained the respect of his teammates this spring,” Harris said. He expects Faoa-Danielson to thrive as a leader and get the most out of his teammates. Jermaine Vue (6-2, 270, Jr.) plays with tenacity on the offensive line and is very good at his position. He’s strong with quick feet, great hands, and a high motor. Look to see him really make big strides this season. Brandon Reedus (5-11, 273, Sr.) joins Vue and brings leadership and size to the trenches. In the backfield look for running back Rashaud Hurt (6-0, 205, So.) who has earned the nickname “Superman” in the Eagle’s locker room. Hurt started a few games a freshman and runs with an attitude. He has great speed and is strong at the point of attack. “He has great vision as well and will get yards after contact and can catch out of the backfield,” Harris said, “He should make a big impact on the field this year.” Wide receiver Ziaire Walton (5-11, 175, Sr.) is a speedy route runner that can get open at will. When the ball is in his hands, he’s likely going to make a play.

DEFENSE

In 2022 the Eagles want to run a 3-4 hybrid system with 4-2-5 principles. They want to contain the field, limit big plays, and allow their pass rushers to get pressure on the opposing quarterback. Kingston Tito (6-2, 235, Jr.) is a bigtime ball player who can play anywhere on the field. He is smart, dynamic, and explosive. Tito makes plays all over the field and is very passionate about football. He is very skilled and will be a top player for the Eagles. On defense he excels at linebacker but expect to see him on both sides of the ball this season along with Vue who will take snaps on both the offensive and defensive line. Jaden Pierce (5-9, 205, Sr.) will be a veteran presence in the middle of the defense and take on whatever challenge is thrown his way. Tony Worrie (5-8, 207, Jr.) is a fellow linebacker and will look to contain the edge and shrink the field. Defensive backs Jalen Jones (6- 1, 160, Jr.) and Calvin Carroll (6-0, 200, Sr.) will look to use their size and athleticism to bait quarterbacks into making turnovers.
