Q&A with Ardmore’s Landon Echols – Athlete Spotlight – Presented by Rib Crib

Ardmore baseball player Landon Echols spoke to VYPE in a recent interview.
VYPE: What are your personal goals for the year?
Personal goal this year is to continue to have all A’s and make a run in the playoffs.


VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?
My favorite athletic memory is playing at La Tech with my friends over the summer.


VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
Christian Skaggs has left the biggest impression on me because he didn’t have a great high school career but daily he came in helping me out as a freshman to be successful.


VYPE: What is your favorite part of being on this team?
My favorite part about being on this team is the bond we have, most of as have known each other for a while and a fun brother like bond.


VYPE: What Clubs or Campus groups are you involved with and why?
I am involved with Nation Honor Society.


VYPE: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life?
My sport as taught me when you fail get back up, baseball you fail 7-10 times gotta have a strong mind to get back up and keep going.


VYPE: What is the best advice that anyone has given you?
The best advice anyone as given me is not think to much that you are plenty good enough.


VYPE: Who inspires you and why?

My mom inspires me the most, she is the most hard working woman I’ve ever meet and I wanna make her proud in everything I do.
