Mangum’s Madyson Paxton – Presented by Cattlemens Bank

VYPE: Madyson, what grade are you in this year and what age did you start playing softball?

Paxton: I am a senior this year and I have played since I was four years old.

VYPE: What position do you play for Mangum High School?

Paxton: I play third base and I am a pitcher.

VYPE: Do you play any other sports at Mangum?

Paxton: I play basketball and I play on a travel softball team.

VYPE: What’s your favorite subject in school and do you have a favorite teacher?

Paxton: My favorite subject in school is English. My favorite teacher is B Live.

VYPE: What do you love most about the sport of softball?

Paxton: What I love most about softball is definitely the teammates.

VYPE: What is it about your teammates? What makes them special to you?

Paxton: What I love most about my teammates is that they are always there for me no matter what.

VYPE: What are you looking forward to the most this season?

Paxton: I’m looking forward to seeing the way we will grow as players. I believe that my mind set is improving coming into this new season.

VYPE: Who has been a big influence in your life, on or off the field?

Paxton: A big influence of mine is my mom. She sacrifices everything for her kids, and I couldn’t thank her more for everything that she has done for me.

VYPE: What are your plans after high school?

Paxton: I am going to Independence College and playing softball. I will go for occupation therapy.
