Hollis’ Morgan Robinson – Athlete Spotlight – Presented by Harmon Memorial Hospital

Morgan Robinson

Hollis High School

The starting centerfielder for the Hollis Tigers is not only a great player on the field, but she excels in multiple sports as well.

“Softball has not always been my favorite sport; however, as I got older my views on the sports I played changed, and I learned to love the game. I also play basketball and run track and cheer,” said Morgan Robinson. “I love the people who I am surrounded by when playing this sport. There is never a dull moment and that makes it really fun.”

The support the team receives is another reason Robinson loves to take the field with her teammates at Hollis.

“The community behind Hollis sports is unbelievable and I will forever be grateful for it! We always have everything we need plus more. The community of Hollis truly goes above and beyond, and I will always be proud to have been a Hollis Tiger,” said Robinson.

Now that the season has arrived, Robinson and her teammates are looking forward to grinding out another solid season.

“I am most excited about all of our home games because of all the fans that come out and support us. One game on the schedule we have circled is Navajo. A few teammates to watch are Jaylee Randolph, Tori Whisenat, and Josie Robinson,” said Robinson.

Robinson said she loves the support the teams give one another regardless of the situation. Robinson wants her class to be remembered as one that gave everything they had to offer.

“I want my class to be remembered for being the class that gave it our all in everything we did whether that be academics, sports, or just in general,” said Robinson.

Away from softball, Robinson enjoys being part of the yearbook staff and junior aeolians. Her plans after high school include attending OSU, but she is still undecided on a major..
