Adam Garcia, a sophomore at Altus High School has learned discipline from cross country, wrestling and soccer. He answered a few questions to tell us more about himself.
Q: What is your favorite part about being on a team?
A: Having teammates to rely on.
Q: Why are you passionate about your sport?
A: I am passionate about my sport, because it helps me in life.
Q: What is the best advice that anyone has given you?
A: “Anything you do, do it well. The last thing you want is to be sorry for what you didn’t do.”
Q: Which professional athlete do you look up to and why?
A: Jamaican sprinter, Usain Bolt, because he is fast.
Q: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?
A: Tokyo, Japan, and I would like to go with my girlfriend.
Q: When and how did you first get into playing your sport?
A: The summer of 2022. My mom encouraged me to try it.
