Altus wrestler Conner Nunez recently spoke to VYPE in an interview.

VYPE: What are your personal goals for the year?

To win wrestling state and tennis state

VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?

Traveling to Colorado with my team to go wrestle.  

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?

Elijah Ortiz our 106. Because he is always down for anything doesn’t matter what time or how crazy it is.

VYPE: What is your favorite part of being on this team?

Getting to coach our younger guys and leaving a impact in our wrestling family 

VYPE: Do you participate in any community service projects?

I help out with the youth wrestling program.

VYPE: What Clubs or Campus groups are you involved with and why?

I’m the student body president and Link crew leader.

VYPE: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life?

My sport has taught me that things in life don’t come easy, you have to work for everything. Don’t expect things in life to be given.

VYPE: What is the best advice that anyone has given you?

At the end of the day everything will always be okay.

VYPE: Who inspires you and why?

My parents inspire me most because they work very hard
