VYPE: What are your goals for this season ?

Caisyn: My goals for this season are to break the 100 backstroke record and to place top 3 in at least one of my events at state.

VYPE: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life?

Caisyn: My sport has taught me that you can’t let the little things ruin everything.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?

Caisyn: My favorite teacher would have to be my 9th grade biology teacher because even though she was my mom she has shown me that nothing is handed out for free and work to get the results you want.

VYPE: Who inspires you and why?

Caisyn: My biggest inspiration would have to be my dad. He is the hardest worker I have ever met and won’t give up even if it means losing.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?

Caisyn: A teammate who has left the biggest impression on me would have to be Kylie Allemeier. She has always pushed me to be the best athlete I can be.

VYPE: What is your favorite part about being on a team?

Caisyn: My favorite part about being on the team is how we are all family. We have our highs and lows together, which make us all the better.

VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?

Caisyn: For a summer vacation I would love to take my mom to the Bahamas because we love tropical places and traveling.

VYPE: Why are you passionate about your sport?

Caisyn: The reason I am passionate about my sport is because it’s such a good environment and it will teach me lifelong skills, such as discipline, resiliency, respect, and compassion.

VYPE: Here is your chance to say hello, goodbye or thank you to anyone you wish.

Caisyn: I would like to thank my family and friends for supporting me through my athletic journey, and I would also like to thank Coach Wiginton, who has pushed me to greater lengths than I could even imagine.
