Bailey Allemeier leading the way for trending Altus swim team – Presented by Frazer Bank

Under the leadership of head coach Linda Wiginton, the Altus swim program continues to gain ground on the heavy hitters in the state.

“The girls’ team has been doing very well. They are hard workers in the pool and in the classroom. We are blessed to have a group of very sweet girls who strive to do their best in practices and meets. The only downside to this year is we only have eleven girls total,” said coach Wiginton.

Bailey Allemeier is competing in three events and is one of the leaders of this team.

“Bailey is our 500 girl and 200 IM and 200 Free. She really can swim all of the strokes. She consistently makes the top four in her events, even at the big invitationals. She helps drive the girls with her strong work ethic,” said coach Wiginton.

The state swim meet is set for February 16-18 at the Edmond Aquatic Center. Class 5A prelims will start on the 17th at 10:30AM.
