Coach: Jacob Wilson

21-22 Record: 0-20

The Rush Springs Redskins are coming from a tough season a year ago. But with many upperclassmen on this season’s team, first-year head coach Jacob Wilson looks to see improvement from his guys. “We are a senior loaded team this year,” Wilson said. “We have a lot of experience coming back and we will look to Jacob Caveness and Dalton Melton on and off the court.”

Caveness (Sr.) and Melton (Sr.) are both outstanding athletes and basketball players. Their hard work and dedication are great examples to the younger guys on the team. Another player that will look to make an impact on the season is Chris Crow (So.). He has put in a lot of hard work during the offseason and that improvement should be evident when he steps out on the court. Justice Cooper (Jr.) does a great job of stepping up and doing whatever is asked of him. He is a great teammate that is dependable on and off the court. One of the younger players that will work to play a role this season is Colton Whiteside (Fr.). In his first year of varsity, Whiteside will have the opportunity to be a contributor to the team’s success.

There are other members of the team that will also be ready to go when called on. They are Olan Elam (Jr.), Lane Sharpe (Jr.), Zane Sharpe (Jr.), Wyatt Foster (Sr.), Landon McWilliams (Fr.), and Jacob Whiteside (Sr.). The assistant coach this season is Wade Whatley.
