Kicking It Around With Hanna Brew – Presented by Ameriprise Financial

VYPE: What are your goals for yourself and your team this season?

Hanna: My goals for myself is to be the best I can be and to succeed into a higher level of soccer and my goals for the team are playoffs, being a family and having good team chemistry. I feel we are doing a lot better than we did last year.

VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?

Hanna: The most fun I’ve had so far for soccer is the practices we had for spring break. Everyone that came to those practices had a good time.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade or coach and why?

Hanna: Amanda Lard and Delydia Givens. Coach Lard has taught me so much and has matured me in so many different ways I love her! I only had Coach Givens for 1 year and that was my freshman year. She taught me to work hard for myself and to believe in myself.

VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?

Hanna: My favorite sports memory is going to the state championships for volleyball. I’m glad I got to experience that because I won’t be able to ever again.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?

Hanna: Kyleigh Bowers has left the biggest impression on me. I have always looked up to her as a role model in many different ways. I’ve always wanted to be as good as her in soccer and she is helping me succeed my career in soccer right now by helping me get into the college I’m going to be attending in the fall after senior year.

VYPE: Who on your team has the best impression of your coach and who says the funniest things during games?

Hanna: Callen Villagrana, because of the way she acts like Southerland on and off the field. His seriousness in games and goofy personality out of sports. The fans say the funniest thing during the games. It’s always great to hear them booing the ref after a bad call.

VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?

Hanna: I would want to go to Fiji, and I would take either my mom or my siblings. I would want to take my mom because she deserves to go on a vacation and relax for once and I always have the most fun with my siblings. They can turn any bad day into a good day.

VYPE: If we gave you $500 dollars and you had to spend it in the next 24 hours, how would you spend it?

Hanna: If I got $500 dollars, I would use it to put into my own future by saving it.

VYPE: Here is your chance to say hello, goodbye or thank you to anyone you wish.

Hanna: Delydia Givens, Amanda Lard, Malia Martin, Ronnie Heare, Dillon Southerland, Gary Akins and Tori Miller Thank y’all for everything and for giving me the opportunity to play for y’all.
