Alyson Perez’s time at Clinton High School is winding down.
The senior cheer captain is enjoying the moments.
“I will remember all of the hard working practices for cheerleading and being able to be the cheer captain,” Perez said.
When she finishes high school, Perez says she will attend college.
“I plan to move to Weatherford and attend SWOSU, to pursue a degree in children’s psychology,” she said.
Perez has a message for the underclassmen at Clinton.
“Don’t hurry growing up. Enjoy every moment of your high school career and be involved,” she said.
Perez has several interests away from school. “I enjoy reading and crocheting. I also enjoy being able to spend time with my family and friends every chance I get,” she said.
“I would like to say thank you to anyone who has ever cheered me on. A special thank you to my Lord, Jesus Christ, to my family, who has always supported me, to my coach, Angie Newcomb, and to the teacher who has been there for me since I was just a freshman, Ashley Kelley. Without their support I wouldn’t be given all the honors and opportunities that I have been blessed with.” Perez said.
