Clinton’s Layden Fuller Athlete Spotlight Presented by K & S Tire / S & D Drug

By Jayden Oyler

Layden Fuller, a senior football player at Clinton High School, is a remarkable athlete who has made a lasting impact on the school’s football and wrestling teams. His journey through high school sports has been a testament to his hard work, dedication, and passion for winning.

Fuller’s memory he is most proud of is one to remember. “A memory I am most proud of would-be winning State in football,” Fuller said. “It is something I will never forget.”

Sports have taught Fuller a lot on and off the field. “Sports have taught me life lessons on respect, accountability, and the importance of having people’s backs,” Fuller said. These life lessons have transferred over into other aspects of Fuller’s life. He is also active in the National Honor Society, maintains an internship, and is enrolled in the work-study program.

When asked about his favorite teacher, Fuller fondly named Mrs. Miller. “She makes you feel valued as a person,” Fuller said. “She genuinely cares about her students’ education and wants you to succeed in life.”

When it comes to teammates, Bradon Snider has been an inspiration. “Regardless of the outcome, Bradon always uplifts your spirits,” Fuller said. “His positivity reminds us that attitude matters more than just winning.”

Aaron Seabolt is another peer who has left an impression on Fuller. “He has shown a lot of heart and toughness on and off the field,” Fuller said. “His passion has been an inspiration to me.”

For Fuller, the thrill of being on the field on Friday nights is unparalleled. He takes the best advice he has received to heart. “Keep pushing through and never give up,” Fuller said, when asked what that advice was.

When asked if he wanted to give a thank you or a shout-out, Fuller was quick to respond. “I would like to thank God, my family, and all the coaches that I have had along the way,” Fuller said. “Their encouragement and support have meant a lot along the way.”
