Weatherford Area Fans Choice and Editor’s Choice – Presented by Jackie Dickerson Shelter Insurance

Fans Choice:

Quarterback: Reece Villines (Weatherford) – Villines threw for 1,225 yards and eleven touchdowns with only three interceptions. He is expected to have a solid senior season.

Wide Receiver/Tight End: CJ Nickson (Weatherford) – Nickson has great hands and looks to increase his production this season. As a freshman last season, he ended with 354 receiving yards and five touchdonws.

Running Back: Braedyn Richardson (Sayre) – He is a fast and powerful running back with good vision. Works hard and is a good leader.

Offensive Lineman: Braylan Haworth (Weatherford) – Braylan does a great job of anchoring the offensive line and keeping the quarterback upright.

Linebacker: Javion Hill (Clinton) – After accumulating 87 tackles last season, Hill enters this season ready to be a big impact player.

Defensive Back: Camdyn Richardson (Sayre) – Richardson is an threat in the secondary and will work hard to shut down the opponent offense.

Defensive Lineman: Raydon Cordell (Merritt) – Raydon wreaks havoc on the defensive line and causes issues for the opponent.

Editor’s Choice:

QB Reece Villines

6-0, 165, Sr. Weath

Villines threw for 1,225 yards on 74 completions with 11 touchdowns. Has the arm to hurt you through the air and the wheels to get it done on the ground.

RB Garrison Rhoades

6-1, 180, Jr. Clinton

Rhoades rushed for over 800 yards last season as a sophomore. His production could be off the charts this season.

WR Aiden Kimberlin

6-5, 185, Jr. Mountain View-Gotebo

Kimberlin continues to develop his skills at receiver, but all reports have him on the verge of a breakout season.

OL Logan Trevino

6-2, 295, Sr. Elk City

Big, physical player who will force a defense to game plan around his abilities. Look for Trevino to have a major impact.

DL Gage Eastham

6-3, 240, Sr. Elk City

Last year Eastham made 22 tackles for loss with eight sacks. Look for his pressure up the middle to make a big difference this season.

LB Javion Hill

6-1, 175, Sr. Clinton

A year ago, Hill grabbed 87 tackles, 26 solo. Hill is a three- year starter for Clinton and a leader on the defense.

DB Danny Corbin

6-1, 175, Jr. Cordell

A talented athlete at quarterback for the Blue Devils, Corbin will see time in the secon eticism and football IQ is showcased.
