Ringling’s Top 100 Spotlight – Karson Daniel – Presented by Daniel Guide Service

Karson Daniel started playing football at a very young age. Today he is the quarterback for the Ringling Blue Devils and a VYPE Top 100 selectee.

Daniel said he loves this team and this town.

“What I love most about my team at Ringling is just the fact that we are all brothers to one another and that we all expect a lot of effort and dedication from one another,” said Daniel. “What I love most about being the quarterback at Ringling High School is the coaching staff is fantastic and always has a great plan for the execution of what we are going to do. The town and the people who live here are very supportive of the Blue Devils, so it’s makes it very fun to play here.”

Several of his teammates have impressed him coming into the new year. Kaden Barron at running back, Caleb Taylor at wide receiver, Rance Wilson at fullback and DJ Lewis at tackle are players Daniel mentioned.

Looking at the schedule for the upcoming season, Ringling will host six home games this season. Home games are great because Daniel and his teammates can spend some time together talking about the game afterwards.

“What I do on a Friday night after a home game is usually go to the post game meal in the school that the moms of the players provide and then just go hang out with my buddies in the parking lot and just listen to music and talk about the game,” said Daniel. “I don’t really have a specific game or team that I am extra excited to play. I look at everyone as a good opponent and as just another team that stands in the way of my goal for the season.”

Daniel is in his final season of high school football and this spring; he will play his last season of high school baseball as well. His plan after high school could include playing more ball in college.

“My plans after I graduate are you hopefully continue my football career in college and get a college degree,” said Daniel.

Daniel hopes to make this a season to remember and etch his name into the record books at Ringling. Being part of the Ringling family is special to Daniel and his teammates.

“The best thing about being a student at Ringling to me is the small town feeling of knowing everyone in the school and having a good relationship with all the teachers and staff. I think it’s a great place to grow up especially if you like to play football, it’s a great town and you always have a lot of support behind you,” said Daniel.
