Chickasha Area Fans Choice and Editor’s Choice – Presented by Gerron Smith Shelter Insurance

Fans Choice:

Quarterback: Levi Taylor (Hinton) – Taylor worked hard in the offseason and is ready to make an impact on the field. He ended last season with 1,076 all purpose yards and fifteen touchdowns.

Wide Receiver/Tight End: Trevor Caveness (Chickasha) – Whether it is a short pass or a deep ball, Trevor has the ability to go up and get the ball.

Running Back: Lane Cocheran (Cyril) – He is fast and very

strong in the weight room. Took fourth place in the 100m at the state track meet. Cochran will be 6’0 190 by the time the season starts and is a really special kid.

Offensive Lineman: Andrew Carson (Cyril) – Carson is a tough kid and does a great job of anchoring the offensive line.

Linebacker: Jake Carruth (Minco) – He registered 71 tackles as a sophomore last season and looks to make a bigger impact this season.

Defensive Back: Alex Logan – (Newcastle) – Logan is a returning starter at defensive back. He is a hard worker that knows what it takes to be his best.

Defensive Lineman: Ty Rayburn (Chickasha) – Rayburn enters his senior season ready to cause problems for opposing offenses.

Editor’s Choice:

QB Bo Green

6-3, 170, Sr. Maysville

Green threw for 1,200-plus yards and rushed for over 600 yards last season. Should break 2,000 total yards this season.

RB Malek Murphy

6-1, 205, Sr. Chickasha

An explosive runner with a great combination of speed and

strength. A three-sport athlete at Chickasha.

WR Jaxon Laminack

5-10, 160, Sr. Blanchard

Laminack caught 37 balls for 546 yards and seven touchdowns on offense and made 94 tackles and two picks on defense.

OL Kenyon BigBow

6-5, 275, Sr. Anadarko

BigBow has developed into a next-level type player for Anadarko. Expect to see him playing on Saturday.

DL Eli Kirkes

6-4, 330, Jr. Minco

Kirkes is developiang into one of the top linemen in the class, but more importantly for Minco, he is a leader on the field.

LB Jag Norman

5-11, 190, Jr. Dibble

A linebacker with the agility to be a great RB, Norman rushed for 840 yards and 10 TDs last year. Norman is a five-sport athlete.

DB Broty Ramming

6-1, 200. Jr. Lindsay

Ramming is a three-sport athlete at Lindsay. He is a versatile player and a leader who will create all sorts of

problems for QBs.
