The Marlow Lady Outlaws finished last season with a fantastic 21-6 record and head coach Brett Tahah is ready to see her team repeat their success this year. Whitney Wade returns after leading the Lady Outlaws last year in both scoring and rebounding. Wade is a fierce competitor that draws extra attention from opponents on the offense. She will look to have another great season on both the offensive and defensive end. Kentley Davis was the team’s sixth man in 2021-22 and provided a big spark off the bench. Although Davis wasn’t in the starting lineup, she was the second leading scorer for the Lady Outlaws and played her role phenomenally. Aside from scoring Davis is also a tremendous rebounder and has been working hard in the offseason to improve all aspects of her game.
Coaches are expecting big things from her this season and expect her to have a breakout year. Carson Lovett has lots of natural ability as a freshman. She is quick with great handles and sees the floor well. While she is only a freshman, coaches say that she could make a push to be the team’s starting point guard if she continues to impress. Regardless, she will be a significant contributor all year whether off the bench or in the starting lineup. Lovett has a very bright future ahead. Kendall Kizarr does all the little things right and is always motivated and ready to hustle. If there’s a loose ball Kizarr is most likely the first player to dive on the floor and win the 50/50 ball. Her work ethic and determination will be key to the Lady Outlaw success. Also look for Kenlee Wilson and Kinley Castle to make contributions this season both on and off the court.
