MARLOW OUTLAWS
GIRLS
Coach: Megan Robbins
22-23 Record: 19-8
Head coach Megan Robbins may not have the same experience level as last season, but coach Robbins and the Lady Outlaws will not allow that to determine how hard they are willing to work this season. “We have three seniors, sixsophomores, and two freshmen on this year’s team. We don’t return a ton of experience from last season but have an athletic team that is hungry and plays hard. I think we have the potential to surprise some teams this season,” said Robbins. VYPE Top 100 selectee Kently Davis (Sr.) will start at forward where she can get to the rim and score.
Coach Robbins said Davis has, “played a solid role for her team the last several years and will be looked to this year to step up and lead our young group.” Guard Carson Lovett (So.) continued to improve last season and is expected to make a big impact as a sophomore. Lovett will likely run the point for coach Robbins. Demi Hunt (Sr.) and Allye Haile (Sr.) round out the senior class at guard and forward. The sophomores to watch are Kinley Castle, Gracee Ottinger, Kory Scott, Mylee Moore, and Kally Loyd. The two freshmen looking to help the team this season are Grace Lovelady, and Haydn Chapman. Assisting coach Robbins are Trey Coffman and Julie McCauley. The season tips off for Marlow on Nov. 28thon the road at Pauls Valley, followed by three home games against Sulphur, Lindsay, and Bridge Creek.
