Duncan band member Grace Munoz recently spoke to VYPE.
VYPE: What are your personal goals for the year?
My personal goals for this year are to graduate high school and later begin my first semester in college as an architect majority.
VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?
My favorite athletic memory would be my first year of achieving sweepstakes as part of the Duncan High School Band.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
The teamate who left the biggest impression on me would be Kenedy Noble. She has been a big part of my life since I met her and has positively impacted me in many ways.
VYPE: What is your favorite part of being on this team?
My favorite part of being a part of the DHS Band is always having a connection with someone, even if we may not know each other very well.
VYPE: Do you participate in any community service projects?
I have volunteered for the Duncan Christmas Rotary Auction, the Dehydrator, Band Mattress Fundraiser, and participated in the Christams Angel tree donation as part of the Girl Scouts.
VYPE: What Clubs or Campus groups are you involved with and why?
I am involved in the DHS Band, DHS Internship program, and the Girl Scouts of America.
VYPE: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life?
Being in the DHS Band has taught me how to manage my time and be responsible for the things I do and to be able to commit and see something through.
VYPE: What is the best advice that anyone has given you?
The best advice someone has ever given me is not what I can do or will do, but what I do do.
VYPE: Who inspires you and why?
The person who inspires me is my mom. She has been and seen a lot in her life, and she is someone I look up to every day.
