Katrina Arrendondo is a senior at Duncan High School where she competes with the varsity cross country team. Arrendondo has competed with the team for several years.
“I have been part of the cross country team at Duncan High School since my freshman year,” said Arrendondo. “I really love that everyone pushes each other to become better.”
Early in the season, Arrendondo had a top 15 finish at the Duncan Cross Country Meet and has a lot of promise in later meets. But cross country is not her only interest at school.
“I am also involved in the Key Club at school,” said Arrendondo.
Being a student-athlete at Duncan High School allows Arrendondo the freedom to meet new people and make new friends.
“What I love most about being a student-athlete at Duncan High School is the opportunity to meet new people during our cross country meets,” said Arrendondo.
The senior said when she is done with cross country and has graduated from high school, she would like to pursue a career in the Real Estate business
“After I graduate, my plan is to start working on getting my Real Estate license,” said Arrendondo.
When she is not training for a meet or working on homework, you can usually find her hanging out with friends and family.
