Coach: Grant Givens
22-23 Record: 14-9
The Lady Demons enter this year looking to build off of their success last season. Head coach Grant Givens, who is in his first year leading the team, says that he has high expectations for his squad. “I believe with what the team has returning and the addition of my daughter, Dasia, we will have an opportunity to have a good season and make a long run in the playoffs.” Addie Siess (Sr.) is a very good shooter who can also get to the basket and score.
Her length and quickness gives her advantage against most opponents. She loves the game of basketball and has worked very hard to become a skilled player. She is being looked at by a few colleges to play at the next level. Another impact player this year will be Dasia Givens (So.). She is a well-rounded player. She’s a strong rebounder and on the ball defender. Offensively, she’s a great passer who always has her eyes up looking down the court. She has developed a good three point shot and can finish strong around the basket. A junior that has played basketball for many years, Ariyah Harris’ (Jr.) strength is on the defensive end of the court. She is a great on ball defender and a strong rebounder. She is continuing to improve as an offensive player. She can finish around the basket and continue to improve her outside shooting. She plays extremely hard and with passion. Rilee Kreutz (Sr.) is a great kid. She’s a senior and very active in school. Riley works hard in basketball and is a positive role model for her younger teammates. Other members of the team that will work to make contributions this season include Olivia Fletcher (Sr.), Meg Walker (Sr.), Vivienne Albin (Jr.), Kierney Holthaus (Jr.), Noelle McRoy (Jr.), Amiya Williams (Jr.), Hannah Woods (Jr.), Finley Davis (So.), Emily Hallford (So.), Gracie Jaramillo (So.), Jaylee Phillips (So.), Breckyn Root (So.), Chasiti Brown (Fr.), Lexzandra Delgado (Fr.), Dani Brown (Fr.), Unity Jones (Fr.), Alexis Mejia (Fr.), Kahlen Morris (Fr.), Hannah Mullins (Fr.), Ellie Peterson (Fr.), Chesnee Roberson (Fr.), and Preslee Thompson (Fr.).
