Duncan golfer Jensen Prince spoke to VYPE recently.
VYPE: What are your personal goals for the year?
To finish in the top 25 individually as a freshman in the state tournament.
VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?
Marking a hole in one on the tenth hole at the Duncan Golf and Tennis club.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
Baylor Bostick – because growing up I saw him push everyday to be the best he could be and I strive to be like that.
VYPE: What is your favorite part of being on this team?
Surrounding myself with people who want to get better everyday.
VYPE: Do you participate in any community service projects?
I participate in Wreaths Across America to honor our fallen veterans.
VYPE: What Clubs or Campus groups are you involved with and why?
I’m an active member of my church’s youth group.
VYPE: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life?
If you work hard and put in the time the results will show.
VYPE: What is the best advice that anyone has given you?
Don’t let one bad shot affect the rest of your round.
VYPE: Who inspires you and why?
My dad – because he has taught me since I was little to work hard for what you get, and that if you want something the only person that can get it is you.

I want to thank my parents for allowing me to play the sport I love and giving me everything I need to be successful. I also want to thank my swing coach Dakota Hicks and all of the coaches that have helped me on my journey.
