Anadarko athlete Thomas Ware recently spoke to VYPE.
VYPE: What are your personal goals for the year?
One of my goals that i had for the season was that i have a good influence on the
underclassmen that will come after me, and i would lead by example and set good examples for
my little brother for football.
VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?
The most fun I had, has to be the competitiveness between me and my teammates at practice,
we had a drill during offense where we had to score from the 30 yard line every play or we had
to do 10 push-ups, and if the scout defense didn’t stop us they had 10 pushups, that was one of
the funnest drills I’ve ever done in my highschool career.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade, and why?
My favorite teacher was when I had Coach Collin sophomore year, we were always joking and
having fun and his work was really easy.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
The teammate that made the biggest impression on me was probably My big cousin Rayden
Churchill, he graduated my junior year, but he always had my back and always kept my head up
if i messed up on anything at practice or in a game, he was always hanging out with me at my
house and was there for me when I went through hard times.
VYPE: What is your favorite part of being on this team?
My favorite part about playing for anadarko was the community, our games were always packed
out, and they were always ready to argue with the refs about bad calls and were ready to get
thrown out of the game for it too.
VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation. Where do you go, and who do you
take with you?
If I could pick where I wanted to go for summer vacation, I would pick Athens Greece, I’ve
always liked Greek mythology and Greek gods and stuff like that.
VYPE: If we gave you $500 and you had to spend it in the next 24 hours, what would you
spend it on?
If you gave me $500 I would probably go buy some snacks and probably just give the rest to my
mom.
VYPE: What Clubs or Campus groups are you involved with and why?
I’m involved with the student council. We do blood drives throughout the school year and we just
send letters to veterans telling them how much we appreciate them.
