Newcastle basketball player Antonio Brown gave an interview with VYPE.
VYPE: What are your personal goals for the year?
I would like to get my team back to the state tournament.
VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?
I got my first all tournament team and my first 20 point game in the same day.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
My teammate chase sucharda he took me under his wing when I was a freshman and pushed
me to be my best and take his position one day.
VYPE: What is your favorite part of being on this team?
The team chemistry everyone on my team scores every game and we are unselfish.
VYPE: Do you participate in any community service projects?
No I don’t but after highschool I’m thinking about starting a clothes drive for the homeless.
VYPE: What Clubs or Campus groups are you involved with and why?
I’m apart of BPA in my highschool it will teach me life skills and be good on my college resume.
VYPE: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life?
Communication is a big key in basketball so it is a great life skill I use.
VYPE: What is the best advice that anyone has given you?
practice doesn’t make perfect it makes improvement.
VYPE: Who inspires you and why?
My pops – he always pushed me through life to be a better basketball player and a better man.
