Bayle Bingham is proud to be a fighting chick at Chickasha High School where she
cheers and plays softball. She represents her team with pride knowing “that all the little
girls that love coming to watch us will one day be fighting chicks too.”
Bayle’s first love is softball. “I have been playing since I was five and I have grown to
love it,” she says. Now a junior, her favorite part about being on a team are the bonds
built with teammates and coaches.
“My best friends are my teammates. Team bonding is my favorite thing because the
feeling that comes from being with my girls is amazing,” said Bayle. Her favorite
memory involves making big catches at Newcastle and Blanchard but it was seeing the
reactions of her teammates that made the memory so great.
Softball has taught Bayle that no matter what the situation is you can’t quit.
She says you must “let the little things go and just get the next one.”
Teammate, Mkailei Myers, is her biggest role model from middle school, through high
school. “She (Mkailei) took me under her wing and always wanted what’s best for me.
She is a huge leader in everything she does,” said Bayle.
Her favorite teacher is Coach Cooper from 6th grade. “She teaches more than just a
sport. You leave with life lessons,” says Bayle.
“I want to give a huge shoutout to my family for being there every step of the way. Our
community and administration backs us in everything that we do and they want 100%
what’s best for us. Also one of my best friends, Brook Richardson, who is always there
to pick me up,” she said.
