GIRLS
Coach: Jace Johnson
22-23 Record: 8-17 Starting his third season at Chickasha, Jace Johnson is excited to see what this team can accomplish with its senior leadership and talent. “I believe we’re ready to make some big strides. We have several sophomores that will play pivotal roles for us that received playing time as freshman. We’ll be led by USAO commit, Serenity Golightly,” said Johnson. Golightly (5-4, Sr.) averaged 14 points per game and will run the point.
Golightly is the leading scorer for the last two season and is expected to have the same output this season. Mea Ginn (5-7, So.) averaged 12 points per game and is a solid guard for Chickasha. Ginn is getting interest from schools at the next level thanks to her hard work on both ends of the floor.
Addi Ferguson (5-5, So.) is a player coach Johnson believes will be an important player this season. Ferguson has the work ethic at school and at home that will show on the court. Other players to watch include Madi McDaniel (5-6, Sr.), Lexi Jo Shoemake (5-2, Sr.), Justice Miracle (5-10, Jr.), Hollye Verret (5-7, Jr.), Audri King (5-7, So.), Amiyah Haunpo (5-5, So.), Kayleigh Terry (5-5, So.), Ari Andrew (5-4, So.), Channing Haywood (5-8, Fr.), Sydney Burtschi (5-2, Fr.), Olivia Wilson (5-3, Fr.), Tatym Walley (5-8, Fr.), Carley Ryans (5-11, Fr.), Bayleigh Brown (5-10, Fr.), Jaylee Berry (5-7, Fr.), and Harli Shoemake (5-2, Fr.).
