ANADARKO WARRIORS
Coach: Doug Schumpert
22-23 Record: 19-10
The Anadarko Warriors are prepping for their upcoming season of basketball, and they are ready to take on the challenges that come their way. This year, they are entering the season under the guidance of head coach Doug Schumpert, who is entering his 24th year with the program. While they faced the departure of three seniors, including their two leading scorers, Schumpert remains optimistic about the season. With a relatively young team, featuring only one senior, they are focused on building depth across all positions.
The Warriors have a talented roster that includes 17 dedicated players. Notably, their sophomore class displayed remarkable potential by going undefeated as freshmen. The strong junior class, comprising players like Jordan Cange (6-0), Jakobi Tallent (6-1), Trenton Smith (5-10), Jaben Bray (6-1), Jaylen Passi (6-4), Caleb Shook (6-4), and Camron Bert (6-0), has already demonstrated their ability to contribute to the team’s success. Alex Pebeahsy (6-0), who is the team’s lone senior, will serve as the group leader thanks to his years of experience in basketball. As the season unfolds, the Anadarko Warriors look forward to the challenges and opportunities that await them. With their youthful energy, depth and a roster of players who have already shown their potential, they are determined to make their mark on the basketball court. With a well-rounded schedule that features a mix of home and away games, including tournaments and matchups against formidable opponents, the Anadarko Warriors are ready to showcase their skills and dedication to the sport. While they may be relatively young, their talent and determination are key assets that will help them face any adversity that comes their way.
