VYPE: When and how did you first get into playing your sport?
Shelby: I decided to play golf because my great-grandmother likes it and my grandma wanted me to get into it.
VYPE: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life?
Shelby: My sport has taught me patience that I use in my everyday life.
VYPE: What is your favorite part about being on a team?
Shelby: My favorite part about being on a team is being able to work with others to achieve a goal such as winning and growing in relationships with my teammates.
VYPE: Which professional athlete do you look up to and why?
Shelby: I look up to Margret Ward who is an ex-LPGA because she coaches me and
just has a great personality that I look up to.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?
Shelby: My favorite teacher is Mrs. Simmons, my third and fifth-grade teacher because she taught me a lot and cared about her students.
VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?
Shelby: If I could pick anywhere to go on summer vacation I would go to the Maldives because it is on my bucket list and is just beautiful there.

VYPE: What is your all-time favorite meal?
Shelby: My favorite all-time meal is a filet mignon, baked potato, and asparagus.
