VYPE: What is your greatest speciality on the diamond? What makes your game so effective?
Isaiah Hernandez: The biggest part of my game is my speed and my ability to lead off at the top of the lineup to get us started. I can and will go get anything that comes to the outfield which makes me a valuable piece in the lineup.
VYPE: Do you hope you will breakout as a college prospect this year?
IH: Yes, I’m confident that my skill set and talent is enough to get me to the next level.
VYPE: Your coaches say you’re a leader for the team. Why is that important to you and where did you learn that skill?
IH: I took on the leadership role way before baseball. Being the oldest of three forced me to not only voice everything, but lead by example.
VYPE: What are your personal goals this season?
IH: My personal goal is to bat over .300, have over 50 stolen bases, and help my team get to the state tournament.
VYPE: How far can Ardmore go, and what will it take for your team to get there?
IH: The amount of time and effort. The amount of talent we have. I believe we will make a pretty good run this year.
