When Plainview High School’s Haigen Flowers started cheering for the varsity team, she was only a freshman. Now a senior, Haigen is enjoying every Friday night under the lights cheering for the football team and making some great memories with her teammates.
“This is my fourth year on the varsity cheer team. I love how hardworking and dedicated our team is this year and how close we have all become,” Haigen said. “Friday nights are special to me because I get to do what I love with people I love.”
Haigen and her teammates know how to get the crowd going.
“My favorite thing to do at games is stunts because it catches the crowd’s attention,” Haigen said. “I will miss stunting and joking around with everyone the most about Friday nights.”
The senior said being a student-athlete at Plainview High School is the perfect place for a cheerleader because the schools has so much team spirit.
After graduation, Haigen plans to attend college and get a degree in special education. For now, Haigen is focused on being a great cheerleader and student at Plainview High.
