VYPE:What we’re your goals for the season? How are those coming ?
Savannah Clothier: To go to state in the 800m race.
VYPE: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life?
SC: The sport that has taught me daily things is track. Which is discipline, mentality, and hard work.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?
SC: Ms. Robinson because she is a great coach and teacher. Always trying to push me to my potential in school and athletics
VYPE: Who inspires you and why?
SC: My dad because he’s a hard worker and trying to push me to be the best.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
SC: Harley Snapp. She’s the kindest, sweetest soul ever and she is always encouraging me and [an] overall great teammate.
VYPE: What has been your biggest obstacle in your athletic career and how did you overcome it?
SC: The anxiety that comes before a race and it’s still something to overcome but I always remember to believe in my work that I have put in and to believe I can push through.
VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?
SC: Paris to see the Eiffel Tower.
VYPE: What do you love about your sport?
SC: The people, especially the distance girls and the discipline it gives me in sports and school.
