BOYS BASKETBALL

Steph Sterling – Altus

Sterling is a solid basketball player that is getting looks from the collegiate level. He is a solid player on both ends of the court and will be a key player for Altus this season.

Alford Cathey – Frederick

Cathey is only one of two seniors on the young Bomber squad. He will be the leader on this team both on and off the court. He is a force around the rim and his strength and athleticism will be the focus of most defenses.

Kaden Schmidt – Navajo

Schmidt is a fun kid with a positive attitude. Leads by example as well as vocally. Ready to be the guy that people rely on. Wants to win and wants to do what it takes to win.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Dani Davis – Altus

Davis is a senior guard who will lead the team on and off the court. She will be the floor general and keep everything running smoothly. She has good ball sense and really knows the game. Davis is a very hard worker and goal-oriented.

Sawyer Stockton – Balko

A very versatile and athletic player that can score at the rim or from the 3-point line. Shot over 40% from the 3-point line last season. Rebounds extremely well for a guard. Undoubtedly will be the team’s leader this season. A hard- nosed kid that has a passion for the game of basketball.

Morgan Robinson – Hollis

Robinson was the team’s Offensive MVP last season as a sophomore. She was the leading scorer and leading rebounder. She plays as a shooting forward and the offense centers around her. On defense, Robinson is long, and she does a good job getting in the passing lanes and finding the rebounds. Her aggression and strength make her a tough opponent on the floor. She is a multisport athlete with a 4.0 GPA and is involved in numerous organizations.

WRESTLING

Gavin Williams – Mangum

Williams has improved tremendously from when he first started,is  not afraid to ask questions and is willing to fix what is asked. Williams will be entering this year wrestling at 285 pounds and he looks to have an outstanding season.

Mhakari Milton – Altus

This junior forward is a tough player and a relentless rebounder. He will be a contributor to the team this season.

Holder Dunn – Navajo

This guy knows how to compete and does it daily. Positive attitude and an uplifter to others. He wants to succeed, but he wants to do it morally and respectfully. This guy will hold it all together.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Melissa Tamez – Altus

Tamez is a junior and one of the hardest workers on the team. She does the things that nobody else wants to do. She will lead the team on the defensive end of the court this year.

Maylee Wertz – Balko

The true definition of a gym rat. Wertz spends all of her extra time in the gym working on her game. She does everything that is asked of her and also puts the team first. She has a passion for the game of basketball and it is evident by how much times she pours into it on her own time.
