Going for Greens with Chloe Cummins – Presented by RibCrib

VYPE: What are your goals for yourself and your team this season?

Chloe: A personal goal is to improve as the golf season goes and place in the state tournament. A goal for my team would be continuing to improve, build friendships, and make it back to the state tournament.

VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?

Chloe: The most fun I have had in the last year would be beating my grandpa in a round of golf. He is why I have improved so much and being able to beat him after years was so bittersweet.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade or coach and why?

Chloe: My favorite teacher would have to be Mrs. Clayton. She is so supportive in all our extracurricular activities and is one of the reasons I enjoy coming to school.

VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?

Chloe: My favorite athletic memory would be the two years my team got to play in the Big House for the state basketball tournament.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?

Chloe: The teammate who has left the biggest impression on me would be Ashlyn Sage. I got the pleasure of being her teammate for three years in basketball but got the closest to her my junior year. She was so open and honest about her faith, someone I could take to, and I could always count on her to make me laugh.

VYPE: Who on your team has the best impression of your coach and who says the funniest things during games?

Chloe: Reagan Rosenkranz can definitely make the best impression of Coach Mickley, and Maddy Hada says the funniest things during tournaments.

VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?

Chloe: I would love to go to Hawaii for a summer vacation. I would definitely take my parents and my two older siblings, Quade and Kelsey.

VYPE: If we gave you $500 dollars and you had to spend it in the next 24 hours, how would you spend it?

Chloe: If I had $500 dollars to spend in 24 hours, I would go on a shopping spree. I love to shop, primarily online.

VYPE: Here is your chance to say hello, goodbye or thank you to anyone you wish.

Chloe: I would first like to thank God for blessing me with the ability to play, my parents for encouraging and supporting me, my grandparents for never missing a tournament, especially my grandpa; he has spent countless hours with me, making me a whole lot better, Coach Mickley for constantly believing in me, and my teammates for making practice and tournaments so enjoyable.
