Ardmore Area Football & Softball Athletes to Watch – Presented by Rib Crib

Softball Players to Watch

Savanna Marris – Ardmore

Savanna is a leader for the team, both on and off the field. She is an asset to the team. 

Shelby Beard – Dickson

She is a great kid and a hard worker. She is an ace in the circle and has a strong bat as well.

Kaitlynn McCage – Thackerville

McCage is a hard woerker but is always willing to get better. She is a team leader.

Kalyn Forsythe – Wilson

She hit .350 as a freshman last season. She also drove in 19 runs while scoring 18. 

Football Unsung Heroes 

Parker Blankenship – Ardmore

Parker is a tremendous team player. He is selfless and is a kid who leads by example. 

Tanner Stewart – Dickson

Stewart will play quarterback and safety this season, but he has the ability to play wherever his team needs him. 

Toby Aycox – Healdton

Toby made a ton of improvement over the past year. He is expected to see playing time on both sides of the ball.

Braeden Bailey  – Lone Grove

Braeden shows up everyday and goes above and beyond with his effort. He always does the right thing even when no one is looking. 

Holden McGahey – Madill

Holden is an extremely hard worker that goes above and beyond. It could be on the practice field, weight room, or on the game field and he is going to go all out all of the time. 

Axel Pierce  – Marietta

As Axel enters his sophomore year, he is coming off of an offseason that saw him put in a lot of work. 

Cole Campbell – Pauls Valley

He is a three-year starter at center and will be an anchor for the offensive line.

Blue Norman – Plainview

Blue is a great role model and leader on the team. He is a great example for the younger guys to look up to, being a leader by example. 

Nathan Wolfe – Thackerville

Nathan plays center and nose tackle. He is the emotional leader of the team. He is usually the first to practice and the last to leave. 

Softball Unsung Heroes 

Mya Harris – Ardmore

Harris is a great kid that can play wherever her team needs. 

Emily Nogueira – Dickson

Emily works hard to improve and has seen a lot of growth over the last year.

Macee Noland – Thackerville

An all-around great kid, Noland will work to be a key player this season.

Football Underclassmen to Watch

Marshall Johnson – Healdton

Entering his sophomore year, Johnson should make a big impact on both sides of the ball.

Malikai Miller – Lone Grove

Miller is a solid player at quarterback. He knows the game of football really well and he is a dual-threat player. 

Fisher Payne – Marietta

Fisher is a tremendous athlete. His offseason progress has been really good and he is primed to be a standout on both sides of the ball. 

TK Jaggers – Pauls Valley

He is a returning starter in the secondary. He had four interceptions and one returned for a touchdown last season.

Justus Gilliam – Plainview

He is a solid player with a lot of potential. He could see time on the offensive and defensive line this season 

Justice Rodriguez – Thackerville

He started at quarterback as a freshman last season. He is looking to have more production this season. 

Softball Underclassmen to Watch

Antonnette Gresham – Ardmore

A talented athlete, Gresham has the potential to make an early impact this season. 

Riley Mays – Dickson

Mays is a great kid that is always ready to work.

Raygan Barnes – Thackerville

Raygan put in the time at practice and it shows on game day.
