Hi, what are you looking for?

Weatherford

9 Qs with Weatherford basketball player Marley Teasley – Presented by The Cup Weatherford

VYPE: what were your goals for this season and how did they go?

Marley: My goal for this season is to make it to the state tournament. In order to reach this goal, I think that we have to play as a team and play hard.

VYPE: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life?

Marley: This sport has taught me that no matter how hard you fail, how you respond to failure is all that matters.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?

Marley: My favorite teacher is Mrs Wilson from High School. She has been there for me and helped me throughout high school.

VYPE: Who inspires you and why?

Marley: My dad inspires me with all his hard work and dedication.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?

Marley: Addy Hoffman has left the biggest impact on me. She works so hard in everything she does. Seeing her work hard and have that “want” makes me want to do the same thing. Not only that, she is a great person outside of basketball.

VYPE: What is your favorite part about being on a team?

Marley: My favorite part about being on a team is just knowing that I have teammates that have my back in every situation. Knowing there are people backing me up on and off the court is a great feeling.

VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?

Marley: For a summer vacation I would go to Florida. I would take my sister on vacation with me.

VYPE: Why are you passionate about your sport?

Marley: I am passionate about this sport because I know that I am blessed to be able to play.

VYPE: Here is your chance to say hello, goodbye or thank you to anyone you wish. Marley: I want to thank all my teammates for pushing me to be a better player and person. And my parents for allowing me to do what I do.
