Southwest Oklahoma Area Players to Watch Volleyball – Presented by Arvest Bank

Kaydence Rencher – Altus

Kayde has become a leader of the team. She works as a setter and hitter when needed. This summer she has worked in helping the incoming freshmen adjust to the high school and has encouraged them at all times. Kayde has shown through her actions on and off the court that she is very valuable to the team.

Olivia Bradford – Amber Pocasset

Olivia is a sophomore who has been involved in the Panther’s volleyball program for four years and stepped into a key role as a middle blocker last year as a freshman. Having originally worked to be a setter, Olivia expanded her game and is now a true offensive threat that is central to the team’s offense. Her natural athleticism coupled with her outstanding work ethic makes her stand out on the floor. She is an all around leader on the floor, in the classroom, and in the community.

Mercedes Crandall – Cache

She has relentless hustle and is flying all over the court in practice and games. Mercedes has a high IQ of the game and she can read plays before they happen. As libero and leader, she sets the standard for the team’s effort. In the classroom, she is a 4.0 student. Also, she is a multi- sport athlete. She is a multiple time state champion in track and field. She competes in sprints and pole vault.

Jayden Brown- Adams – Chickasha

Jayden is a strong, athletic outside hitter. She has worked hard the past six years making her game better each year. She is a leader on the floor and continues to teach the younger players the skills she has learned.

Clariza Ramos – Clinton

Clariza is a culture builder, hustler, and dedicated athlete. Clariza is usually the first player in the gym every day, and the last to leave. She is a vocal player who leads her team offensively and defensively from the backrow. Clariza is coachable and always eager for constructive criticism. She is disciplined in her bodily movements and a very technical player, which makes her a great athlete for the underclassmen to look up to.

Chloe Nelson – Corn Bible

Chloe is the team’s senior leader. She is reliable and always ready for the ball. As the main outside hitter, she covers a big area on the court on defense as well as getting the most swings from the front and back row. She hits smart places on the court and really is a great leader.

Mariah Gaede – Lawton MacArthur

Gaede is a good athlete with an outstanding work ethic. She looks to make a bigger impact this season.

Bailey Lowder – Lawton MacArthur

As a junior, Bailey is a six rotation, high impact outside hitter. She dominates offensively, and maintains a high work ethic in all facets of volleyball. Bailey keeps high energy on and off the court, pushes herself to be better, and is always respectful and loyal to her teammates, coaches, and opponents.

Mallory Miller – Weatherford

Mallory can play any where on the court that she is needed. She is a huge part of the team and her flexibility and volleyball knowledge keeps her on the court as much as possible.
