Nicholas Borghini – Altus

Nicholas is a great team leader. He is quiet and leads by example. He is always willing to help others and great work ethic.

Cordell Richardson – Hobart

He is an outstanding young man and an equally good runner.

He is also a solid student in the classroom.

GIRLS CROSS

Addison Bynum – Hobart

Bynum works hard to be the best runner she can be. Not only is she an excellent runner, but she is also a great teammate.

Maci Copeland – Hollis

Maci is always the pacer in practice and the one every girl looks up to. She works hard and is consistent every week. She is considered the team’s go-to-girl to get the job done. Her performances in cross country and track have allowed her to receive numerous individual and team accolades. She also held a 4.0 on the State Track Academic Champion Team this past spring.

UNDERCLASSMEN TO WATCH

CHEER

Kendall Dodson – Altus

She is incredibly hard working and has such a heart for the sport. She does everything with a great attitude and a smile on her face. Not only does she work hard on the cheer mat but she is the first one to offer help for everything that goes on behind the scenes. Kendall is always there for her teammates and is one of the kindest people you will ever meet. She has a heart of gold.

GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY

Daisha Christian – Hobart

Christian works hard and is continually striving to better her time on the course. She also does a great job of being there for her teammates and helping in any way she can.

Naria Gonzalez – Hollis

Naria was on the state qualifying cross country team last year as a freshmen and played a critical role in the team getting there. She was also on the state qualifying two mile relay team last year in track and helped them medal on the podium this past May for sixth place at state. Running is her passion, and she can run both long and short distances. She has great work ethic, has always been consistent with her times, and is someone that can be counted on. Naria also held a 4.0 on the State Track Academic Champion Team this past spring.

UNSUNG HEROES CHEER

Laura Clausing – Altus

She is a foreign exchange student from the Netherlands. She is completely new to the sport but has worked really hard to learn all the aspects of cheerleading. She has a great work ethic and a joyful personality.
