Anadarko Football Top 100 Spotlight – Kenyon BigBow – Presented by Bank of Commerce

Football is a game of inches and can be won or lost down in the trenches where the big boys really get after it. While linemen don’t usually find themselves filling up stat sheets or making their way onto big highlight reels, their hard work doesn’t go unappreciated by those who know the game.

To be successful on the line, one must be mentally and physically tough, determined, and willing to do whatever it takes to be successful to help their team. At 6-5, 275, Anadarko Warrior senior Kenyon BigBow is a force to be reckoned with on the offensive line.

For BigBow his love of the game is matched by his appreciation for his teammates, coaches, and the moments he has shared along the way.

“I love playing with these guys because I grew up playing every sport with them,” BigBow said. “We all treat each other like family.”

This season the Warriors have several seniors and upperclassmen returning to the gridiron and BigBow and his teammates want to end their high school career on a high note.

BigBow will look to be a leader on the offensive front while helping the Warriors establish their running game and contain the outside to give his quarterback time to make plays downfield.

With BigBow’s dedication to the sport, practice, and willingness to compete every single down it’s no wonder he has earned status as a VYPE Top 100 athlete.

BigBow thanks his dad for serving as inspiration.

“One of the biggest influences in my life on and off the field is my dad. He’s always encouraged me to do my best and always put 100 percent into everything I do in life,” BigBow said. “To never let anyone get in the way of anything.”

While football is BigBow’s passion he is also focused on his education. As a senior BigBow is planning ahead for his future. He has recently received interest from ECU and Northwestern Oklahoma State and is looking to gain more offers after a solid senior campaign.

“My plan after high school is to continue playing football at a university that appreciates me,” BigBow said. “And one that provides me with a good education.”
