Weatherford Volleyball Preview – Presented by More than Medicine

Head coach Sandi Barr and the Lady Eagles enter the 2022 season with a contagious enthusiasm for the possibilities ahead.

“We are a hound team with a lot of talent. Excited to see what we can accomplish this year,” said coach Barr.

Mallory Miller (S, RS, OH, Jr.) is back bringing her versatility to the lineup again this season.

“Mallory can play anywhere we need her. She is a huge part of our team and her flexibility and volleyball knowledge keeps her on the court as much as possible,” said coach Barr.

Miller is joined by Sophia Lonebear (RS, M), a senior with some versatility of her own. Combine the two players are tough to stop.

Sophomore Saylor Paden (S, RS) is one player coach Barr loves to see on the court thanks to her willingness to do whatever it takes to help her team win. Braelee Epp (S, DS) is another underclassman who works hard and is developing into a key component for the Lady Eagles. Dessa Miranda (OH, DS) is a senior who brings leadership and a high IQ to the court.

Other players to watch this season include Jordan Hoffman, Nadia Lopez (Sr.), Angie Nevarez (Sr.), Jade Visnieski (Jr.), and Camdyn Falasco (So.).
