Weatherford Hometown Hero Nominees 2022 – Presented By Pond Agency

Bailey Walker (Arapaho) – Bailey is well-rounded and gets along with everyone. She is nice and courteous to everyone. She represents her school and community like a champ.

Luke Foster (Canton) – Luke is a person that always puts others before him. He is respectful to all he meets and never has a bad thing to say about anyone. Luke does all he can every day to be a great role model to his peers, his siblings, and the Special Olympic athletes to whom he donates his time.

Alyssa Brott (Elk City) – Team leader in the weight room as well as a vocal leader in practice. Dependable, competitive, and trustworthy are just a few words to describe Alyssa.

Harlee Benkley (Hammon) – Harlee is a humble and kind-hearted young lady. She is wise beyond her years and knows the value of hard work. She’s a key part of her athletic teams, putting in countless hours of practice, yet still maintains a 4.0 GPA. This year Harlee also opted to take college courses. She completed two courses last semester and is starting another one this semester. Harlee has a servant’s heart and loves to serve the Lord, her teammates, and her community. During the holidays she helps hand out Thanksgiving baskets and Christmas baskets through our church. She’s an excellent role model for younger kids.

Landon Sechrist (Mt. View-Gotebo) – Landon is a great kid that people enjoy being around. He has a great sense of humor and is looked up to by everyone in the school.

Mason Christian (Sayre) – Mason is a leader and is at every team function while maintaining a job. A tremendous competitor who the younger kids look up to. You will also find Mason every Saturday morning working at the local grocery store after every Friday night game which is not always an easy feat.

Angie Nevarez (Weatherford) – Angie is an outgoing person and a great teammate. She works hard on the volleyball court and in the classroom.
