Softball Players to Watch

Sydney Shotts – Hollis

Sydney is in the circle every game and has a lot of responsibility put on her, being the main pitcher for the entire season. She looks to have a promising couple more years as a Hollis Lady Tiger.

Abby Bates – Navajo

Abby plays the position that requires the most work and is great at it! She is a leader on the field at catcher and makes the pitchers look good. She is a great base runner and can hit for power.

Emma Geralds – Mangum

Emma had a great junior year, hitting .428 with three home runs and 34 RBIs. Legit corner player that is transitioning to shortstop this year with exceptional leadership and communication skills.

Football Unsung Heroes

Mason Romjue – Balko

Mason is a great playmaker on both sides of the ball. On offense last season, he had over 1,000 all purpose yards on offense and has six interceptions on defense. 

Wyatt Shelburne – Hobart

A great kid on and off the field, Shelburne is a hard worker that will do whatever he can to help his team.

Issac Batioja – Mangum

Quiet athlete who does all of the dirty work for his team with not a lot of recognition. He is one of the strongest kids in the state as a two time state powerlifting qualifier.

Softball Unsung Heroes

Kalie Pendergraft – Hollis

Kalie is a great teammate and will go out of her way to help her team succeed. 

Ry’Leigh Pennington – Navajo

Pennington is always helping her team, but sometimes the things she does do not show up in the stat sheets. 

Volleyball Unsung Heroes

Breanna Dayton – Altus

She is a hard worker and always puts in the time when needed.

Amanda Johnson – Mangum

She is a smart kid in the classroom and a solid volleyball player too.

Football Underclassmen to Watch

Tucker Taft – Altus

He is a very stronger runner and has worked to get stronger and bigger this offseason.

Nathan Smith – Balko

Nathan came on strong as a sophomore and was a major part of Bison’s run to the quarterfinals last season. He is a hard worker in the weight room .

Gunnar Jones – Hobart

Gunnar has a great instinct for the ball and an uncommon ability to bait the quarterback into a throw and then picking it off.

Brody Shelby – Mangum

Shelby is a hard working young man. He is expected to have a big season. Has potential to play at the next level.

Softball Underclassmen to Watch

Jaylee Randolph – Hollis

Randolph has a high softball IQ. She has the potential to be a key player for Hollis this season.

Avery Rempel – Navajo

She is a leader on and off the field and is a solid softball player. 

Volleyball Underclassmen to Watch

Melissa Tamez – Altus

Tamez is a hard working kid that never quits.

Madi Paxton – Mangum

She is a talented player and a solid teammate.
